Advent is a season of spiritual preparation for the feast of the Nativity when we celebrate the Incarnation of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.  To support your reflections on the scriptures which will be read at Sunday Masses during this time, we are providing a series of short commentaries on each Sunday’s  first and second readings, as well as the Gospel.  Please set a side a little time each week to read these, ideally before you come to Sunday Mass.  The document shown below provides commentaries on ALL of these readings.  This can be printed or downloaded to your own computer / tablet / mobile phone.
