Last week in St Mark’s Hall there was a Charity Auction to support Fr Peter Lafferty who runs an orphanage in Durban, S. Africa.  One of the prizes has been opened out to the wider community so that it can hopefully raise more money for a great cause.  This prize is a Celtic top worn by Scott Brown at his recent Testimonial match and signed by him.  Anyone who wants to bid for this should put the bid in an envelope with your name and details and hand it in to St Mark’s or St Anthony’s.  This auction will be open until Sunday 16th December. So far the highest bid received has been £300.
