Third Sunday of Easter

Deacon Bill’s Gospel Reflection for 3rd Sunday of Easter:

To encounter the Risen Lord, we need to open our eyes, ears and hearts to see, hear, and experience him coming into our lives in various forms, circumstances and events. The Risen Lord blesses us with success and achievements. The Risen Lord is present in our pains and suffering. The Risen Lord visits us through our friends and families. The Risen Lord visits us in the form of unexpected help from the least expected persons in our times of need. He is present in the words of Holy Scripture. He is there in the Sacraments and He is there where two or three are gathered together in his name. Christ is the centre of our lives. He continually calls us to return to him when we sometimes don’t recognise him.
