The talks will take place in St Columbkille’s Parish Hall (first floor) starting at 7pm on the dates below. You can choose to attend any single talk or all 4 talks. ALL WELCOME.
- 10th March – Intellectual honesty – He spoke the truth as he saw it.
- 17th March – Spiritual depth – He was a man who humbly walked with God.
- 24th March – Proclamation of the Gospel – A great writer and preacher.
- 31st March – Pastoral care – A kind shepherd of souls.
The first 3 talks will focus on Newman’s three conversions: 1816, 1833, 1845. The last talk will focus on St John Henry Newman’s importance today – what he can teach us as we try to follow Christ in the modern world.
