Deacon Bill’s Gospel Reflection on the Gospel theme this Sunday

It is important to remember that no matter how much we do for others, for our parish, our diocese, the Church, it cannot be a substitute for building up a loving and obedient relationship with God. It is easy to think that, by doing all this work, that is all we need to do to follow Christ when in fact it can sometimes prevent us from doing the things we should be doing, like spending time in prayer with Our Lord.
