The parish depends on YOUR donations to support all the work we do in our community. However you chooose to donate, we offer you grateful thanks for your support of our work.

  1. Traditionally, parishioners have made cash donations to the Offertory collection baskets at Church on a Sunday.
  2. While cash contributions can still be made in this way, we offer other convenient means of donating. Contactless card readers are available as you enter the church.
  3. You can make an online donation, using the form below.
  4. You may wish to set up a regular standing order payment from your bank account directly to the parish.  The parish bank account details are:
  • Account name: St Columbkille’s Parish
  • Bank of Scotland
  • Sort Code: 80-12-79
  • Account No.: 10163767

All of these forms of payment include the option to GIFT AID your donation, thereby providing the parish with an additional payment from HMRC (if you are a UK taxpayer) to the parish at no additional cost to you.

Single donations

Regular donations

The best way to make a regular donation to the parish is to set up a direct payment from your bank account using the Standing Order authorisation form below.   As you will see, the form is in two parts.

  • The LEFT side shows the Standing Order mandate which you can download and print, complete it and take it/send it to your bank to arrange regular payments to the Parish account.
  • The RIGHT part is for those who wish to join the Gift Aid scheme.  If you are not currently a member of the scheme, and you are a UK taxpayer, you can join by completing the appropriate part of the form.  This part should be sent to the Parish House.  Gift Aiding your Offertory payment does not cost you anything and makes no difference to your tax.  You do not have to specify an amount you will pay as the parish will reclaim the tax only on the amount(s) you have donated.

If you decide to make your regular payments by Standing Order directly to the Parish account and/or join the Gift Aid scheme, please email us at:  stcolumbkille@rcdom.org.uk so that we can properly account for all donations being received in this way.
