    • The present church building was opened in 1940 to replace the first St Columbkille's Church which was founded on the same site in 1851.

Visit to Bonnie Prince Charlie & Jacobite Exhibition

 
 

Father Mournian is organising a trip to the National Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh on Tuesday 24th October 2017, to visit this exhibition.  A bus will leave from the Hall car park at 11.15 am and travel to Edinburgh where tea & coffee will be available, followed by a tour of the Exhibition.  The bus will leave Edinburgh at 4.15 and travel to Equi’s in Cambuslang for fish teas before heading home to Rutherglen. The cost of travel is £12 and is payable on the day. Payment for the Exhibition is £15 which is required NOW.  This should be deposited in an envelope with your name marked clearly on it.  available    (Envelopes are available in the Parish Shop.)
