    • The present church building was opened in 1940 to replace the first St Columbkille's Church which was founded on the same site in 1851.

Statue of St Michael the Archangel

The parish will receive the statue of St Michael the Archangel on Wednesday 15th June, marked with a Solemn Mass at 1pm. The Knights of St Columba will enthrone the statue at the start of Mass. N.B. There will be no 10am Mass on Wednesday; please join us at 1pm. In preparation for this special occasion, we will begin our parish novena on Tuesday 14th June with recitation of the parish novena prayer and litany before the final blessing at all Masses.

While the statue is in the parish there will be 40hrs Adoration beginning at 7am on Sunday 19th June (Corpus Christi) and finishing at 12noon on Wednesday 22nd June. There will be guided Holy Hours each night. A full timetable can be seen below.
