Revised Safeguarding Instruction

The Bishops’ Conference of Scotland has published an updated version of IN GOD’S IMAGE, the Safeguarding instruction manual that applies to all parishes in Scotland. The revised text, which takes account of recent Vatican decrees and changes in Scottish legislation, lays great emphasis on the “Culture of Care” that should be the hallmark of our safeguarding approach. All those involved in working with children, young people and vulnerable adults in the Church should familiarise themselves with this text which can be read online here: https://www.bcos.org.uk/InGodsImageV2
