Confession during Holy Week in St Columbkille's are scheduled as follows: Monday 30th March 9.30am - 9.55am; 7 -7.30pm Tuesday 31st March 9.30am - 9.55am; 7.30 -8.30pm Wednesday 1st April 9.30am - 9.55am.

Eucharistic Adoration on Holy Tuesday will take place 6-8.30pm with Confessions taking place 7.30-8.30pm. To sign up to be a Guardian of the Blessed Sacrament during this time please use the sheet at the back of the church.

As with the Feast of Christmas, Easter is too special to be restricted to just one day, therefore the Church celebrates the Easter season or Eastertide. The Feast of Easter lasts for eight days – The Easter Octave. Mass on each of these days is an Easter Mass.
On Divine Mercy Sunday, 12th April there will be Confessions between 2pm & 4pm (visiting priests available), with Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament 2pm & 4pm, Divine Mercy Chaplet at 3pm and Holy Mass at 4pm. All welcome. The Church offers a Plenary Indulgence on this feast day. Refreshments in the hall afterwards.
There will be a meeting of the parish UCM grooup in the Parish Hall on Thursday 16th April at 11.15am. All women of the parish will be made most welcome.
Our parent and toddler group will meet in the Lower Sacristy of the church on Tuesday 28th April after 10am Mass. New members welcome.
Our Young Adults Group (16-35yrs) will meet in the church house on Tuesday 28th April at 7pm, concluding with Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and Benediction in the church. New members welcome.
There will be a special 8.15am Mass on Friday 1st May 2026, followed by a festive breakfast for all those children who attended the 8.15am Mass during Lent.
Our monthly Welfare Clinic provides information and advice on matters related to personal welfare and benefits. All men in the parish are invited to come together briefly each month on a Saturday after 10am Mass to spend some time in conversation and prayer. Deacon Michael will speak to the group on Saturday 2nd May. All men of the parish welcome.
The 1st Tuesday Club meets in the Parish Hall on the first Tuesday of each month, from 1.30- 3.30pm. The 1st Tuesday Club is a support group for those living with dementia and their carers. All welcome.
We are a group of Bereavement Buddies who are available to listen to anyone who is experiencing the loss of a loved one. We are here to listen. You're most welcome. This year’s First Holy Communion Mass will take place on Saturday 9th May, 11am. N.B. There will be no 10am Mass that day. On this day we celebrate the Solemnity Ascension of Our Lord into heaven, 40 days after Easter Sunday. This is a holyday of obligation. Times of Masses are as follows:- Wednesday 13th May - Vigil at 7pm Thursday 14th May - 7am, 10am, 1pm N.B. There will be no evening Mass on Thursday.Â
