Ash Wednesday, which is a DAY of FAST & ABSTINENCE, marks the beginning of the Season of Lent – a season of penance, reflection, and fasting which prepares us for Christ’s Resurrection on Easter Sunday. Ashes will be distributed at all Masses celebrated on this day at: 7am, 10am, 1pm & 7pm.
The Day of Prayer for Survivors of Abuse will be observed by the Catholic Church in Scotland on Friday 20th February 2025. This day is set aside to provide opportunities for Catholic parishes and communities throughout Scotland to pray for the healing of all those who have suffered abuse.
To prepare children fittingly for the reception of the Sacraments of First Communion and Confirmation, we have organised a morning Retreat for all these children and their parents/carers.
