On the feast of St Mungo (Tuesday 13th January), as part of the 2026 St Mungo Festival, St Columbkille's Church will host a service of Sung Evening Prayer (Vespers) at 7pm with the Schola Benedicti. All welcome. www.stmungofestival.co.uk

Our Young Adults Group will meet on Tuesday 3rd February at 7pm in the Parish House for pizza and a Q&A with Fr Mournian which will include planning for the year ahead. All young adults aged 16 - 35(ish) are welcome!
Meeting of all Altar Servers in the church on Wednesday 4th February at 5.30pm, New servers welcome.
There will be a meeting of the parish UCM grooup in the Parish Hall on Thursday 5th February at 11am. All women of the parish will be made most welcome.
In these meetings, we use images of old football players, matches, and football memorabilia to talk about football the way it used to be. Everyone will be made very welcome.
Ash Wednesday, which is a DAY of FAST & ABSTINENCE, marks the beginning of the Season of Lent – a season of penance, reflection, and fasting which prepares us for Christ’s Resurrection on Easter Sunday. Ashes will be distributed at all Masses celebrated on this day at: 7am, 10am, 1pm & 7pm.
The Day of Prayer for Survivors of Abuse will be observed by the Catholic Church in Scotland on Friday 20th February 2025. This day is set aside to provide opportunities for Catholic parishes and communities throughout Scotland to pray for the healing of all those who have suffered abuse.
Opportunity for workers (and other early birds) to attend Mass at 7am every Monday during Lent.
The Parish Youth Club is open to boys and girls in Primary 4 to 7. It meets in the Parish Hall from 6pm to 7.30pm on Mondays of term time.
Stations of the Cross at 7pm each Monday evening during Lent.
Attendance at our Baptism Preparation Course is required for arents who wish their child to be baptised in St Columbkille's Church. To enquire about Baptism, please contact the Parish Office - 0141 647 6034.
On THURSDAYS during Lent, there will be Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament from 9.30am to 7pm.
Mass every Thursday evening at 7pm during Lent
Fridays, 8.15am during term time for our primary school children. Please note this Mass will take place in the church, NOT the school. Tea and toast after Mass!
