Deacon Bill’s Gospel Reflection on the Gospel theme this Sunday

As followers of Jesus Christ we are a believing, spirit filled, united and caring community of Eucharistic people. Eucharistic people who believe in the real presence of Christ in the Eucharist; Eucharistic people who are spirit filled, because the receiving of the Eucharist is a communion with Jesus himself; Eucharistic people who are a united people, for the Eucharist unites its recipients into the one body of Christ; Eucharistic people who are a community. The Eucharist creates unity through communion which means community. Eucharistic people who are a caring people. To receive communion is to receive others into our world of caring and love for all.
