On the first Sunday of the New Year, the Church’s World Day of Prayer for Peace, a collection is taken up in all the Scottish Dioceses to support the work of our national Justice and Peace Commission and local Justice and Peace initiatives in the Diocese of Motherwell. The second collection at Masses on Sat /Sun  5th/6th January  is, therefore, for Justice & Peace Scotland.
