    • The present church building was opened in 1940 to replace the first St Columbkille's Church which was founded on the same site in 1851.

The Little Flower in Scotland

 
 

The Relics of St Thérèse of Lisieux arrive in Scotland on 30th August and will remain there until Sunday 1st September before visiting all the Scottish Dioceses. St Francis Xavier Parish Church will be open continuously from 9am on Friday until 6pm on Sunday. Mass will be celebrated in the parish church and in the Grotto at various times each day.  Confession will be available each day and evening The Rosary will be recited each hour on the hour throughout the night until 7am each morning. PLEASE PLAN HOW YOU AND YOUR FAMILY CAN PARTICIPATE IN THIS UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY FOR PRAYERS AND PETITIONS TO THE LITTLE FLOWER. Details of all services can be found below.
