After a number of unsuccessful attempts to attract more parishioners to participate in the Parish Council, it was decided towards the end of 2017 to undertake a new initiative in planning how our parish will continue to serve our three-fold mission: to proclaim the Word, to celebrate liturgy and sacrament and to serve our community. Â While we continue to benefit from the great work of various parish groups and ministries, a small group of parishioners and clergy has now been established as our PARISH MISSION & ACTION GROUP to oversee the planning of social events, liturgical services and opportunities for learning more about our faith.
Details of planned events and activities will be published in the Parish Bulletin and here on the website. We pray that the Holy Spirit will inspire the work of this group so that we shall realise our vision of being a welcoming and faithful eucharistic community, serving the Lord, spreading the truth of his Gospel and helping all to respond to God’s call to holiness.
