Deacon Bill’s Gospel Reflection for the Fourth Sunday of Advent in Year A:

We are preparing to celebrate the birth of Jesus, who is a God of puzzle;  not only did he surprise us by becoming man, but by the way he became man through Mary. He is also a God of presence and presents; when God became man, human nature was raised to a divine dignity and he gives us many presents: holiness, grace and peace.
