137th St Columbkille’s Scouts & Beavers

The 137th St Columbkille’s Scout Group (boys and girls) will now meet in St Columbkille’s Hall every Wednesday during term time from 29th August 2018.

Beaver Scouts (for boys & girls aged 5¾ to 8 years) will meet from 6.30 – 7.30pm.
They will enjoy all that Scouting has to offer: being introduced to outdoor activities, having the opportunity to be creative, explore their local community and experience the excitement of a Beaver Scout Sleepover with their friends.

Cub Scouts (for boys & girls aged 8 to 10½) will meet from 6.30 – 8pm.
For Cubs, excitement and adventure are key. Their programme offers a huge variety of activities surrounding areas of fitness, global issues and beliefs; whilst allowing them to be creative and get involved in their local communities. Cubs are introduced to exciting outdoor skills and take part in adventure activities, as well as camps and residential experiences.

Scouts 7.30 – 9pm

All sections will get the chance to learn some basic cooking and cleaning on cookers and in the outdoor experiences in team and solo effort. We endeavour to help the children realise their full potential and build on their confidence in a safe and supportive environment.

We welcome new members – both children and adults – to join us on our adventures. Feel free to pop along on a Wednesday night and speak to one of the Leaders or contact Marie Smith on 07825 044655 outwith office hours.
